What virus protection does email have?
All email processed through our new email service (unless forwarded to an another address) that is collected directly is scanned for known viruses.
If a known virus is detected, that email will not be delivered.
Software and virus definitions provided by the ClamAV Open Source Anti-Virus Project are used in the scanning function. Virus definitions are updated several times daily, with fresh definitions downloaded automatically.
This facility does not negate the need for you to have your own virus protection
measures installed and updated regularly. However, by combining multiple
levels of protection we hope to make your internet experience
a pleasant
